You are invited to the launch and activation workshop for the Cardinia Community Food Strategy!

This facilitated, hands on workshop will have us mapping out the first steps in activating the food strategy actions, as well as building an understanding of critical issues we are facing and our collective impact framework.

It will also feature a select number of inspiring and informative 'food for thought' international and local speakers to help spark ideas and inspiration at key points in the morning including our keynote speaker -

Devita Davison: Devita electrified and inspired us all at the 2017 Cardinia Food Forum and launch of the Food Circles initiative at the ,and we are thrilled to have her join us on this stage of our journey in 2019! Devita is the Executive Director of FoodLab Detroit, a nonprofit organization that works to provide entrepreneurs with technical assistance, workshops, resources and the skills they need to start and grow a strong values-based food business.

A light lunch will be provided, so please register ASAP for catering and planning purposes.

How to get there?

Public Transport: Toomah Community Centre is adjacent to Cardinia Railway Station.

Driving: There is onsite parking at Toomah, but if this is full you can also park at the nearby shopping centre to the north, a two minute walk away.
